Join us for a dynamic and engaging Horn Commercial Music Masterclass presented by Stax Music Academy and led by Paul McKinney, Director of Student Success and Alumni Relations. This hands-on session will immerse participants in the art of horn sections in rhythm and blues, soul, and party bands from across the globe.

Attendees will play through classic hits from Stax Records legends, as well as favorites from Earth, Wind & Fire, Michael Jackson, and more. This is a unique opportunity to not only play these iconic songs but also learn the nuances of horn arrangements in commercial music. Participants will receive sheet music for jazz standards and get expert tips on jazz improvisation from Memphis’ top horn players.
