About the Event:

Participants will dive into the basics of music production, creating their own beats using cutting-edge Roland instruments and tools such as Roland Cloud, AeroCaster, and AIRA Compact. Fauntleroy’s vision for the Beat Garden is to cultivate computer literacy through music, providing an engaging, hands-on experience in a welcoming, tech-filled environment.

Reflecting on his own inspiration from a technology assembly he attended as a youth, Fauntleroy aims to spark the same passion in today’s students, especially those who may not have had access to such resources. “When I was growing up in South Los Angeles, we didn’t have exposure to this kind of technology,” says Fauntleroy. “That one assembly opened my eyes to the possibilities of coding, programming, and technology. It changed my life, and I want to give back by providing the same opportunity to kids today.”

Isaac Daniel, Executive Director of the Stax Music Academy, shares, “This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to learn and grow. We’re grateful to James and his team for bringing this experience to our community.”

Don’t miss out on this incredible chance for students to learn from one of the industry’s best and ignite their passion for music and technology!,
