If you’re a young songwriter with a passion for music, Mic Drop is the event for you! Join us for a talent showcase featuring celebrity judges and prize packages designed to help launch your music career. Mic Drop is open to all Memphis area youth aged 12-18, and there’s no entry fee!
PRIZE PACKAGE
The prize package for the competition includes a $500 cash prize, studio time at Young Avenue Sound with a surprise producer, and digital distribution through a free DistroKid account that can get your music on platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok, and Instagram music library.
EVENT DETAILS
The event will take place on Wednesday, May 24th, from 6-8 PM at The Green Room @ Crosstown Concourse. Each artist will have a 10-minute limit to perform two original songs with a track or live band.
HOW TO ENTER
To be considered for Mic Drop, simply send an MP3 or video of an original song to . The submission deadline is May 19th, so be sure to act fast!
